Returns & Exchanges
Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days from the date of receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition as when you received it—unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You must also provide the order number as proof of purchase.

Restocking Fees
As each ring is custom-made to your specifications, including size, diamond, and gold options, returns unrelated to manufacturing defects will incur a 20% restocking fee. This fee covers the labor required to resize and polish the returned piece. If the item requires extensive cleaning or repair (or is in any other condition that prevents resale), a higher restocking fee may be charged, depending on the amount of repair work required.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will evaluate the issue and rectify it promptly.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the custom nature of some items, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Eternity bands made to order
- Items with physical damage not related to manufacturing defects
Exchanges
If you wish to exchange your purchased item, a 20% restocking fee will apply. The remaining 80% of your original payment will be credited towards your new order. If the cost of the new jewelry piece exceeds the credited amount, you will be required to pay the difference. This exchange option is available once per item and must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the original piece. The 20% restocking fee is non-refundable and covers processing costs associated with the exchange.
Please contact us before returning your jewelry to ensure it arrives safely. Clients are responsible for return shipping costs, and we highly recommend insuring your package and using a traceable courier, as we are not responsible for items lost in the mail.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
Resizing
At ÉTOILE DIAM, we understand the importance of a perfect fit. We offer a ring resizing service to ensure your jewelry fits comfortably and beautifully.
Resizing Limitations
- Rings can be resized by a maximum of one full size, either increased or decreased.
- Resizing beyond this range may compromise the integrity and aesthetics of the piece, and therefore cannot be accommodated under this policy.
Exceptions
- Rings with a shank adorned with full eternity stones cannot be resized due to their intricate design and setting. For such cases, we recommend exchanging the ring for the correct size. Our customer service team will assist you with this process.
In some cases, we may exchange the original ring for an identical one in your size instead of resizing. This option is available if it results in a faster turnaround time or if the integrity of the design would be affected by resizing. This applies only to plain gold bands without stones. We will contact you if we recommend this option.
Clients are responsible for shipping costs both ways (including customs fees for international clients).
Repairs
If your jewelry requires repair, please contact us at support@etoilediam.com. Here are some important details about our repair process:
- Our repair specialists will document the current condition of the piece and any required repairs, and we’ll send you a copy of this intake form.
- We will start any work covered under the warranty immediately, which may include:
- Replacing or resetting stones
- Replacing the setting
- Prong work or replacement
- Replacing thinner areas of the band
- Resizing the ring
Please inform us before sending your piece if you:
1. Do not want any part of the above warranty-related work done.
2. Prefer to review and approve the scope of work before we begin.
If repairs are needed beyond what the warranty covers, we will notify you. You can opt out of these repairs if desired.
Clients are responsible for shipping costs both ways. Our current repair timeline is 2-3 weeks from the time we receive your piece.
Note:
If your piece requires a new stone, we cannot guarantee the replacement of limited-edition or one-of-a-kind stones. In such cases, we will contact you to approve an alternative that matches the original as closely as possible.
